Same. With Teddy and Noah we don’t really need someone 1 year behind them, we need someone 2 years.

I'm thrilled he reclassified. He plays the game like a 5 year NFL vet. His pocket presence and movement is outstanding and these are not coachable traits. He's got a great arm and can run with good speed/power. He's also got great size at 6'2" 225 lbs. Stud. One of my fav ND recruits in awhile and has unlimited potential.

He clearly doesn’t need the year to develop physically. Rather have him coming in next year when QB is in flux rather than the following year when Teddy or Grubbs potentially have the starter job wrapped up.

This ensures Teddy or Monds never really is a factor at ND. Being back to back one is beating out/getting the other to transfer. 2 years apart that’s not an issue.

I think it’s more likely than not if CJ leaves that we take a QB in the portal as a stop gap. I think a lot of Teddy but he is supposed to still be a HS senior too. They’d basically need to good enough about him or Grubbs by December to not take another body.
