On the depth chart on the Jags webste, he is behind probably one of the best linebackers in the NFL in Okuloun. He won't play much barring injury.

Kiser was waived at the start of the year because of his injury and signed to the practice squad the following day as the Jags told Kiser that they still wanted him.

Elevated to the 53 man roster on 9/16 but was listed as Inactive for each of the three games that he was on the roster which meant that they needed to promote Jalen McLeod from the practice squad for each of those three weeks which is the max for a season. Jags were forced to make a decision to either promote McLeod to the active roster or leave him on the practice squad the rest of the year.

Overall it sounds like the Jags still valued Kiser, but he couldn't get over the injury sufficiently to play. I'm guessing the Jags thought that Kiser might clear waivers again and sign him to the practice squad.

Absolutely great spot for Kiser to land, playing for Golden again. Bengals defense is on the rise too this year since they've picked some dudes up. Could be good for his career as long as Golden is DC.

I certainly don't fault him for the scouting report. I'd whiff like that several times most years, as would anybody else. Seems like he got real snarky about it though. Tim had already been in the business for decades and should've known to expect the unexpected.

Prister has always had an attitude...I simply turn the page when I see his name....He has a habit of scanning these boards and simply copying what we are saying...

yeah was listening to Mina Kimes a week or so ago and she was full of praise for Golden. Dexter Lawrence trade was inspired
