I hope that it's all Irish and really starts getting the ND 2028 recruiting train in full motion.

D end recruiting has gotten to a level that I have become way more interested in nose guards and the future of linebackers in a nickel/dime passing game. The Tuitt Lynch Ishaq was the only other year I felt D end maxed out it’s needs

I think if we can convince Patridge to stay around for a while we could be pumping out loads of DL talent to the NFL over the next 4-5 years. He is 52 and I think the only way he heads back to the NFL would be for a job with one of the Florida teams. He has never been a coordinator.

He was Co-DC at Wisconsin and Pitt for a time. He was also the head coach at FAU. I don't know what his ambitions are going forward, but "stay around for a while" could mean a lot of things.

The tradeoff for winning games, and hopefully championships, is your assistant coaching staff have opportunities presented to them. If Marcus is any kind of good boss and mentor, he wants his guys to go on to bigger and better things.

Yep. He’s fucking terrible.
