I’m old enough to remember Joe Biden’s gaffes being covered in detail. I’m sure those same folks will comment on a very stable genius calling a cognitive test hard. Guy with the nuclear launch codes thinks subtracting by 7 is tough work.

Biggest issue for DJT right now (IMO) is all the Iran stuff wasn't really sold at all.

So right now people are paying more for gas for some reason we haven't really had explained. If it was nuclear stuff, i had been told last year we took care of that? Iran hates Israel? That's not new. My suspicion is the administration expected Iran to either run to the table before any bombing or immediately after.

I don't think people would really mind paying more if people thought we had a good reason to suffer some financial consequences in the short term for long term benefits.

Either way, you'd end up with alternative ideas being circulated (Israel, Epstein distraction, etc). But now I think a lot more fuel gets added to the fire when you either don't explain the reasoning or the reasoning doesn't make sense. Iran = Bad isn't a great reason.

America's 250th provided a unique opportunity for fun campy Americana energy and now it looks like it won't be particularly enjoyable. Just not great JuJu at the moment.

The long-term benefits are there if the US can get what they want. A world absent SMGs and "Death to America" is a better world. There is still a long way to go, and as I mentioned before, who is really running the show over there?
