I think Hauck's lack of "enjoyment" was because the schools like Illinois take his best players every year. Even mid pack FBS teams have way more money than the better FCS teams.

He went to St. Peter’s Prep in NJ I love the move I think ND needs to start doing better in NJ tons of talent there

I remember Shivers from when I was coaching AAU Track, he could probably be the fastest guy on the team NOW (10.30/20.91)guy. Good hire and still very young at 27.

Some number of pages back I suggested that ND make a call to Codlin to bring gim back as a full time assistant. By all accounts Mickens loved him, the players on the team respected him and apparently, he's an elite recruiter. "J-Cod" was often on the road with the staff and was a huge part of the elite DB haul Mickens landed in the 2026 class.
Already knows Ash's system, the players in the unit he'll be coaching and the guys that ND is recruiting in the 2027 and 2028 classes. Really nice hire for transitional stability between Mickens and Henry.
