If I’m the AD office I cancel multiple big name matchups in future years TODAY and cite if our big matchup loses matter and other teams’ don’t we will schedule accordingly

Someone on this board told me everything isnt a conspiracy. Fuck that, it's one giant fucking obvious conspiracy. Yesterday's games might as well not have happened. Seems we had no chance... If BYU won, they get in over Miami. BYU loses, Miami gets in. That's it

Yesterday was simply played to decide between BYU or Miami.

That's what I'm sayinmg. There result didnt matter at all for them or us. The only thing that seemed to matter was BYU or Miami. How could yesterday have been different and resulted in us getting in? Seems like they should have just crossed us off the list last week.

So 2 weeks ago, ND was ahead of Bama and destroyed Stanford and Bama held on for a win against a 5 win team.

The following week, ND and Miami watched Bama get destroyed and have negative rushing yards in CCG and Bama stayed put. and ND was displaced by Miami because.... Now the head to head can get factored in?

Fuck it, i won't watch a single playoff game because they didn't want the best teams in. They robbed a top 10ish defense, a top 10 offense and the best player in the country of competing for the playoffs.

I absolutely won’t watch,… I’ve skipped the majority of super bowls, World Series and cfb playoffs that didn’t include ND the last ten years anyway,… I’m absolutely good

I agree with this fully but there is plenty of blame for the vaulted OC not finding a way to give th best player in the country more touches in game one and our DC failing to stop a very average and easily made 1 dimensional offense at home in game 2.

I’m still not watching the playoffs if a shit ass Alabama team who lost to FSU made it in with 3 losses and ND didn’t.

No doubt and the time to discuss that was after the Miami/TAMU game primarily. ND did enough to earn a playoff spot, no additional justifications needed. We didn't ask for a bye because it wasn't earned. We didn't ask for better positioning because our resume didn't really deserve it. We asked for what was earned. What the eye test showed. What the data showed.

It's not resumes. It's not the eye test. It's not consistent reason and data.

It's simply whatever the hell people want or whatever pressure is created the committee caves to like some soft-minded assholes.

Truly the best team I've seen since watching Notre Dame, top to bottom, with only last years team to challenge, was not given a chance to win a title.

And we don't get Jeremiyah Love back for another season. We were just robbed of that.
