This is what we want boys …. A closer game , BYU doesn’t let Miami jump them even when they lose, and BYU doesn’t jump us with a loss. BREATHE

The only reason Texas Tech is automatically in even with a loss and BYU isn’t is NIL headlines

BYU only L is @ Tech. Wins over Utah and Arizona

Tech only L is at unranked ASU. Wins over Utah and BYU

How can committee justify jumping Miami over BYU when both of BYu’s losses would be to the same top 4 team

A few points...

1) Boise State victory - I don't think people fully appreciate the importance of this game for us. Adding a 21-point W over a conference champ to our resume is a key talking point for the CFP committee.

2) Bama - The CFP Chair discussed how tight it was between Bama and ND and how tough the decision was...essentially sounded like it was 50/50 in the room. If UGA wins convincingly, I think we should move ahead of them but, at a minimum, this and #1 above gives me hope that we will at least stay ahead of Miami.

3) Texas Tech - It's a shame that TT must win this game. They should be below us with a L. The only decent W's they have are Utah and BYU.

Bama and BYU lose. Duke wins impressively. Is there any chance Duke gets in just so the ACC doesn’t get entirely snubbed?

Went down on a rabbit hole on BYU’s roster and the amount of players they have that are high school class of 2018 or 2019 is astounding.

I think regardless if BYU loses and bama loses we move up ahead of bama
If Bama loses in a close game I don’t think they drop at all.

If they lose by more than 14 points we jump them.

In between is no man’s land where I have no clue.

IF Tech gets up by two scores, I feel very confident that Tech will hold on; especially with Bear banged up.

I just turned on the MAC Championship and one of the announcers harped on how Notre Dame and Miami will be ranked side by side if BYU loses and how head to head will come into play. I swear these ESPN talking heads have been paid to run this narrative dry. There is either substance to this or they're pushing it strictly for ratings for tomorrow's show... Regardless, I am tired of f*cking hearing it.

I'm not sure why everyone is convinced BYU drops with a loss. That they aren't as good as TT isn't new information. It should already be factored into their ranking. I'm also not sure why they are acting like the committee is adjusting rankings while the last team in the 4-team grouping still has a game to play.
