For the 80% that always say "we will be better NEXT year" just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save your breathe. We don't want to hear it anymore. It just plain disgusts me.

Every year after basketball or football season that is all I hear "Next year is our year" blah blah blah..........well guess what folks, we are not getting any better are we? So please say anything else than "we will be better next year" instead say something that will ACTUALLY happen.

...............BUT, in all seriousness "We will be better next year" LOL LOL LOL LOL

Nah, I like it too much here. I think I'm gonna retire here and build my Vcabin in the Vwoods.

No one with any amount of cognitive function was saying that 2012 was going to be "Notre Dame's year" for basketball.

No one intelligent is saying that 2012 will be be Notre Dame's year for football either.

2011 was the most talented Notre Dame football team in a decade, probably evem since 1993, and all of the hype was valid. They simply blew their shots. That happens. 2013 looks to be a good year for Notre Dame basketball too. They may bow out early in the tournament, or they may win it all. Who ****ing knows? No one knows anything but the general strengths or weaknesses, and doesn't really have a clue as to how it will play out on the field/court.

So, as politely as I can put it: Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.

You really should lose the ND logo in your profile and consider changing your screen name permanently. Fans have hope that it will get better. Fans drink a shot or 2 of Kool-Aid and may overrate their teams by a game or 3 every year (many fanbases do).

You are NOT a fan. If consistently saying we are going to suck every year gives you a sense of validation and entitlement to your continued doom and gloom approach on this board, then God bless you. Just turn your avatar back to a duck permanently and roll a J. I'm sure you're a nice guy (you must be, you're from the 616). But your perspective on Notre Dame on this board pisses off "the 80%." Cease and desist may be your best bet.
