I know this is a bit early, but I wanted to throw it out there now:
Any way we can set up a bracket competition on yahoo and do the payouts through here? The way I was thinking it could work would be to have anyone who wanted in set up a bracket in a IE group on yahoo, then once the field was set, someone would post a sportsbook thread listing every entrant with odds based on how many people are in the tournament (if there were 50 people, everyone would be 50:1). Then everyone would bet the entry fee amount on themselves prior to tipoff of the first game. Anyone who didn't put up the money wouldn't be eligible for the payout, obviously. At the end, whoever wins the group gets their bet paid out, and everyone else loses.
I propose $1M entry fee to make it fun, although if that is unreasonable, it could be less. Just so it is enough to make it entertaining.
