Doing the wrong thing to obtain the right results, now that's drama.

Three episodes left.

I am thinking that too much change from the direction they are headed is going to change the series too much . . . for me

Hey, what is the deal with the two guards having no marks on them? I know why they are expected to have them, it is just that they didn't have any, and Rick kept commenting on it . . . .

I'm thinking that you don't need to be bit to become a zombie? I don't know how, but I'm think that's what they were hinting at.

Foreshadowing certainly. "Well they must have scratches! See on the hand here, then on the face on the other". I would like to hear more of the the back back story. As Shane alluded to on the news there was a couple weird reports.

That's what I'm talking about. Maybe, more on how the whole thing started, ala Captain Trips, in The Stand, or something.

Wonder the same thing. Seemed like Rick had a V8 moment. Bet something comes of that later.

And there's still the whole thing that the scientist whispered to him before he blew himself up.

Naw, that was about the blood samples the good Dr. took, and he informed Rick that Lori was pregnant. That's when he put together the Shane/Lori apocalyptic **** fest. I think he's correct not to hold a grudge and try and reestablish the boundaries with Shane, because his combat skills are vital to the group's defense.

Oh yeah, good call. Well what was Rick about to share over the radio with the black dude from the first episode up on the roof in the 1st episode of season 2? Didn't he allude to to what the scientist told him? I guess it could still have been that his wife was pregnant. I don't remember it all that well though.

If Rick did know Laurie was pregnant, he did such a good job hiding it that would really show the character in a different light, wouldn't it?

Love this site as well as this show!

I will say that the episode where they had to put the little girl in the barn down broke my heart.

What ever happened to the black guy and his son?

What happened to the guy who cut his own hand off?

What did the doctor whisper?

There was a helicopter last season. Where was it from?

They need to start answering these questions.

People are so hooked on this show, that they have plenty of time and episodes to answer all of those questions.

I thought it was wonderful the way they brought him back as a vision when his brother had it all on the line. They can bring him back as a vision again, or make him part of this nefarious group that will obviously appear in coming episodes. Or they could do both.

So what was the deal with the cow? Dale seemed surprised and bewildered at the cow before he was gutted by the walker. Did he sense that a walker had taken down a 1,500lb animal and began to eat it?

I think he knew it was a walker who did it so he was like...Oh, crap, the walkers are on our land. And then he got gutted.

Good riddance to Dale. I liked him last season but this season he was an absolute whiny geezer.

Judging from the previews of next weeks episode, it looks like the Shane/Rick battle will be escalating.

Carl is such a little $hit. I got so excited when the walker broke free and grabbed his legs.

What do you guys think about the Randall situation? What would you do? I think Rick should have killed him and been done with it. When Dale was talking about how the group needs to stay civilized, he made good points, and it's reminiscent of Piggy in Lord of the Flies. But the thing is, life in their world is survival of the fittest. Getting nostalgic about the way things used to be is not feasible, especially given how ruthless the group Randall came from seems to be (making the old man watch while they abused his daughters).

He should have offed him. I mean in my long view of that whole situation I would love to find other survivors and just group up and roll out, strength in numbers. However knowing how humans operate and behave I would protect the group I was with and be very distrustful of any outsiders.

Sucks, but thats life in the Wild West.

Put a bullet in his knee and feed him to the walkers.

Hershel said it could be a lean winter. I would probably off him...but then save him to eat for the group. Pickled and canned meat is a tasty joy for the palate.

I personally prefer smoked human to canned...

You sick bastards.

Dale did one thing before he died: he planted a seed that fell on fertile soil.

The group will realize the value of humanity.

He was an asset to the cause.

His hindrance was necessary.

The boy is evolving as all youngsters do based on the crudely of his environment. He needs to see humanity salvaged in one form or another in order to provide a healthy future. Rick realized that, and he also noticed his indiscretions are going to harm him.

Shane will be like all other antagonists, and he will come full circle when the time is right. It's not now though.

The group of thirty will come.
