My favorite thing about players coached by Mike Brey is that they are always the most basketball intelligent players I see and they play w/ more heart than any other team. These guys are really fun to watch!!!

Team showed great determination in that second half.

Hate to be this guy, but Villanova probably played one of the dumbest second halves of basketball I've ever seen.

I use to be a fan of Jay Wright but for a team to be so UN-disciplined is amazing

I agree with a lot of this... at the same time, Nova was playing way above their talent level in the first half and I think the law of averages simply caught up with them.

whooo that was sick. I love the resiliency of this team. As I've said, many times, I have issues with Brey, but I love the man. Also, I agree with the above statements that Nova played horribly undisciplined bball at the end. Like when Jayvaughn took the ball over halfcourt and launched a terrible 3 and airballed - after a long timeout. I won't complain though.

I have to agree with this as well.

It just was unbelievable to see that three point shot right after the time-out Nova called.

That just screams out bad coaching to me. I dont believe a Mike Brey coached player would have done that.

I don't think that was bad coaching as much as it was a player trying to be a hero.

I really doubt Jay Wright drew up a play for him to carry the ball over halfcourt and just launch a three. By Wright's expression after the shot, I thought it was obvious that Jayvaughn had completely ignored him and tried to hit a dagger (and failed miserably haha).

Maybe it could go 50/50. The player wasn't disciplined (coaching problem) to run the play the coach drew up (player problem).

If that makes sense.

Either way I am happy ND got out with a win after being down by 20, no matter how or why it happened.

Wow, lets just keep the winning streak alive. This is a great feeling and although some of us, myself included felt that when we we're down would loose. I hope for this reation during the football season. Go Irish!
