Congrats man hes a good player.
We actually need him very badly. With the exit of the Brew Crew of 2008, we are dangerously thin at OT. Him and Dodson (wisconsin commit from Ohio) are the targets for that position for us. We still might have to move our TE Fragel to OT next year. Bollman (our OC OL coach) has made us dangerously thin at that position for several years so far.

Supposedly not going to OSU according to a couple OSU reports. I don't know the reason, it's premium info at this point.

Most believe it's down to Arkansas and Michigan. Hopefully Arkansas.

I think with Michigan OL switching to Cinnci. This will bring Diamond to Michigan where he always wanted to go. His teammate is commited to Arkansas though.

Why the hell would Diamond and Garnett go to Michigan? I know they're thin along the offensive line, but they've also got Kalis (4/5 star), Magnuson (4 star), Bars (3/4 star), and Braden (3 star) on board. It just seems like an overload.

You can never have enough good o-linemen especially in the B1G

No, I know why UM wants them, but I can't imagine both of them picking UM. There are only 4 spots for them to compete at there, since none of them play center.

Think of it this way. Next year when OL is our focus we will have no competition with these pukes when we land 4-5, 4-5star studs. This doesn't bother me at all, but hey I am MR.Optimistic the next 7 days! Poole,Armstead,Neal baby!

Michigan is still going to compete hard next year for some elite guys like Tulley-Tillman. Could be a very special year up front though if we can snag Pocic.

I know this is the wrong thread for this... but who are we targeting higher - Tulley or Pocic?
Also - That monster in KY - Biven(I believe) seems like he is a HUGE ND fan... With the Elmer verbal(as long as that stays) - I have to think 1 of the 3 would fall our way if we put the all on assualt now...

targeting all 3 with biven the only one of the three so far w/o an offer, but it could be coming soon.

in his profile there's an article that says even if they offer he'll wait it out, but you never know if he gets the offer he may jump on it quick.

Yeah I remember that but I think he jumps on because he knows he'll be the lowest ranked of the guys we take, which is no knock on him just the way it seems it will play out. (/crosses fingers)

I think once Biven gets the offer he jumps early and commits. Could very well be our second verbal in the class. IMO.

He doesn't seem to be as highly rated as our other OL targets. That could easily change with summer camps and whatnot. I don't know if we'd take Biven so soon in the recruiting season with us being in the hunt for some elite OL.

i see biven as an interior guy with the other guys on our radar being edge guys. depending on if they take that into effect with their o line recruiting could have something to do with it.

Too early to tell right now.

Wrong. Illinois and ND are the early favorites.

As for Biven... I really wish him and Kyle Bosch had offers. Kyle Bosch is another top OL prospect who (if memory serves me correctly) really wants to be at ND and camped here and is pissed he doesn't have an offer. Going to be end up being this year's Joe Bolden if things keep going how they're going...

Call it what you will... but according to 24/7 he is rated #76 ahead of Tulley at #84 and way behind Pocic at #14 - again - we do have Elmer who is showing at #12. This is the year we turn it around - we start loading up with 5 star talent and stop losing to teams that we should dominate - if Golson is at the helm, I think we finish at 10-2 with losses to OK and USC... we need to step it up in 2012 vs saying we have a hard shedule - Hell... we are the only team with an 8-5 record with a top 10 recruiting class - besides Texas - but their class is handed to them on JR day.

With you here Lax. I think Biven and Bosch are guys that will only have their stocks rise or stay the same. Very well could be excellent players and both want to be at ND. That's why I am so high on them.

I was inferring that Tulley will rise in the ranks. His upside is huge.
