If that's the case and they get Armani Reeves + 1 OL that would leave us in very good shape to land Davonte Neal. Although I expect Urban Meyer will just "make room" for one more if needed.

I've heard they can take up to 27.

I dont understand though, I thought you could only take 25 recruits? I still dont understand this scholarship thing. The only thing I understand is that 85 is the limit for every team... but when it comes to incoming classes, there is still a lot I dont understand and I just feel as though these schools are cheating somehow. Then I saw that Notre Dame had 28 schollies in the '07 or '08 class...

Early enrollees count towards the previous years class. So if osu took 23 last year, they can have 2 early enrollees this year that count towards last year, which would allow them 27 ths year.

anybody who knows how the numbers break down in regards to our early enrollees?

i'd think we can take a few more since we've had 3 guys enroll early. does that still put us at a max of 23 this year? we only took 23 last year with 3 ee's if i remember correctly. i think we can take a few more than we think, but i don't know how the rules/numbers break down.

thanks

I think the only issue with Notre Dame this year is the 85-man limit.

I don't doubt you for a second but struggle to see how Ohio State has pulled off this "math." They took:

2011: 24
2010: 19
2009: 25

So with zero 5th year players they'd be at 95 players with 27 recruits. Unless they've had massive attrition I just don't see how this adds up. Anyone got a link to an Ohio State site where they might have a breakdown?

Yeah they've had a huge amount of people leave the program. I'm sure their graduation rate is just tremendous as a result.
