THANKS TO SENIORS!!! ND Men Forever

On this day when many of us are really dissapointed with the outcome of tonight, I will not forget some really good guys that came to ND and gave their best. For all the bashing and bad that you may feel tonight. Remember a few really good things that happened during the last 4 years while these kids were here.

First, we beat USC for the first time in like forever. Second, we won two bowl games which was the first bowl win since like 1990. Third, we have now had back to back winning seasons. Forth, they have helped us moved a step closer to becoming a really good program again. Finally and most important, they were classy guys who represented ND with class!!!

It seems like a long time ago that I watched a kid named "Hayseed" leaping over linemen as an undersized OLB. It was just yesterday that we watched a guy named Michael make an amazing catch for his first TD.

THANK YOU to guys like Harrison, Michael, Trever Robinson, Taylor Dever, Mike Golic, Ethan Johnson, Blanton, Gray and others. These guys will be great men in life and I am blessed to get to watch great kids like this play at ND. God Bless you guys and best of luck!! You are always ND men.

Speaking of seniors, I saw that Mike Golic tweeted about his fellow seniors. These guys were a close group. Special guys!!

golic was a good 4th quarter from maybe earning a 5th year...now i'm not so confident he'll be invited back.

I think he played very well today. Most of the pressure came from the outside.

It sucks that Crist wasn't there with these guys today. If anybody represented the ups and downs these guys went through, and how they all represented ND in the best possible way throughout it all, it was him.

When I was younger, the draw of ND football was that the players were like super heroes and gods to me. As I get older, the greatest draw is watching young athletes become men. I will root for ND if they never win another football game as long as they keep developing quality human beings.

Love this class, and I wish them nothing but the best. They were around for a tough freshman year, and kept working and improving. If you would have told me "Hayseed" would have turned into the player he is now after his Sophmore year, I would have laughed you out of the room. I will miss Floyd the most, a pleasure to watch, and made a strong comeback after pulling a bonehead move in the offseason.
