...That was pretty cool. haha

I have several family members and friends who have served or are serving now, and I'm extremely proud to know every one of them.

Wishing all of them a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I know its not Christmas-related, but this is the most appropriate thread I could find for this. Thank you to all who serve or who have served.

That's awesome. I'm in the Navy reserves and have put on my uniform to welcome home some of the Honor Flights at both Midway and O'hare bringing ww2 vets back from their trip to DC. It's really hard to keep a dry eye walking with these 80+ year old men, many in wheel chairs, and the entire airport coming to a stop to cheer them on as they come out of the tunnel and go to get their bags. I imagine many people on that plane had the same feeling.

I haven't seen any advertisements for this film, but the trailer is very heart-wrenching:

Some may ask why I posted this in this particular thread, but once you see the trailer you'll understand why.

Awesome movie. Kevin Bacon nailed it. Good luck not getting misty eyed.

I had the honor of witnessing a fallen soldier coming home, when I worked at PDX(Portland, OR) airport. It was very emotional for everyone there. Thanks for sharing this, Boiler!
