Richt Not Going to Texas A&M

Tons of people were saying the same thing yesterday about Charlie and Kansas and boom.

Charlie also went from being an OC to a HC, going from being the head coach at UGA to TAandM is downgrading, especially with how young and extremely talented his team was this year and the incredible amount of talent coming back and in their recruiting class.

Richt was bashed by the Georgia faithful when he started 0-2, bet you that left a bad taste in his mouth. IMO he takes the $ and is the Aggie coach.

Aggies would have to pay Richt over 1 Million more than they were paying Sherman to be just barely over what he is making at UGA right now.

Hey if they want to be in the SEC and play with the big boys they better be able to right that check. What better coach...SEC experience (recruiting and competition) and a proven winner.

Based upon the comments that Richt has already made, there is no way he leaves Georgia unless they refuse to give him an extension. Georgia will give him the extension he wants. This will only solidify in the minds of Theus, Marshall and other recruits that they think he will be there for the next four years.

I think this is a good move for coach Richt. A&M is moving to a new conference and they need a new face of the program. He's still pretty young as far as coaches go, and he has a ton of experience in the SEC so it's a great move by A&M.

Are you kidding me? Good move? Next years UGA team will be one of the most talented he has ever had. It's not thaattt difficult for him to play for the SEC championship game annually bc of the division he's in. Hed be crazy to leave, unless for $$$. Hopefully he goes tho

Maybe, they have been hesitant to make an extension which is what Richt wants. Don't think it will happen but would not be surprised

Exactly. I cheer for UCLA because that was my family's school and at UCLA you hate USC too so I always cheer for UCLA (as long as they're not playing ND). But I don't go flaunting it here, and I definitely don't write one of their rally cries in my posts.

I'll tell you this much Rally - your new sig line isn't going to make you a ton of friends around here. You shouldn't get mad when people call you out on it either - this is a ND site for Pete's sake. Root for whomever yo want (I still root for UCLA), but just know, flaunting it will **** people off, you know?
