Dayne Crist - Well Wishes!!!

I want to say thank you to a guy who suffering some severe injuries and tough situations at ND, but handled them all like a top notch guy. Dayne will always be IRISH to the ND Nation. He may not have reached the field performance we all expected, but he was definitely a champion with his actions off the field. Many folks don't remember, but this kid is the reason other players like Floyd and Rudolph joined his recruiting class.

Life isn't always fair and Dayne did not get a fair shake from Kelly. Why? Who knows! It was a very subjective decision on Kelly's part and nobody's perfect. Dayne will do well in life. He has character and persistence. Good luck to him in every respect.

Wishing Dayne well, but this isn't a Crist-right, coach-wrong situation. Sometimes crap happens. Good luck to Dayne, and good luck to Kelly. Notre Dame is bigger than any one name unless the name is that of Jesus Christ. And last time I checked, Jesus wasn't on the roster.

Dayne Crist is a class act. He has shown a lot of patience and maturity in his years at ND. I hope he finds success wherever he decides to transfer too. I do feel that Brian Kelly made the wrong move on our QB decision, he had zero confidence in Dayne and that was the main reason why Dayne didnt live up to his oppurtunities. Crist was by far the most talented QB on our roster, but Kelly thought he didnt fit well within our spread system. I wish him the best and he will forever be in our Notre Dame hearts. GO Irish
