I guess it depends where you live. In Hawaii we have ALOT of bandwagon wanna be Trojan fans....They wear they colors so proud but when you ask them who is thier starting QB or Coach you get a blank look... LMAO

Not to many SCUM fans in Hawaii, but how the hell you can love the IRISH if SCUM is not in your top 3 of most hated

It seemed when USC was cheating their way to a football dynasty over the last decade that the Michigan game meant more just because the games were so much more competitive. Also in down years the fact that the ND/UM game is played so early has made it seem more meaningful. Really I don't care who the #1 rival is. Seems like every ND opponent is a rival.

#1. It's the ONLY rivalry. I want ND to win that game every year and if they lost the rest I would be fine. Just beat scUM.

I hate scUM and all their fans too. They always seem to get lucky and beat us at the end by a fluke play or a fluke lob pass for 5 touchdowns.

I wish we could win that game 500-0 every year. These last 2 years (Which we should have won and EVERY scUM fan should NOT deny it) have been painful for me.

That and for some reason their dumb fans like to hang out on a ND website rather than their own......Kinda makes you wonder about them really, You would NEVER EVER catch me on a Michigan football/sports website. Could not pay me enough.

Do us all a favor and go look for whoever stole Cissoko's burrito on your own fan website. LOL

I live in Ohio and USC is for sure the #1 rival for me and my fellow Irish fans here.

The last three years it's been UM due to the nature of the games. it was SC before that.
I have had more positive encounters with SC fans than UM fans. UM fans think that God created their program on the 9th day, most of that has to do that most people from Michigan think that God created their state on the 8th day. If you have never had the pleasure of someone from Michigan explain to you why their state is the most beautiful hands down, has the best fishing, best hunting, most lake shoreline and yada yada yada. If you feel that way about your state, then you obviously will feel the same way about that states football program, it’s nauseating.

Since Alaska IS the most beautiful state, DOES have the best fishing and hunting, has a longer coastline than all of the Lower 48 combined, and over a MILLION lakes, I find such comments far more humorous than serious. That said, to me Michigan is our number 2 rival behind U$C.

LOL...I always say the same thing...it's a regional thing. For most, it depends where you live.

The weather here is lovely. Sunny and a high of probably 65-68. But the people here still suck balls and the traffic is a biatch LOL.

I grew up in the Detroit suburbs being tortured by yoo-uh-vem fans as a kid. I was an ND fan because my dad and my mom's dad were ND grads (I guess that makes me an indirect 3rd gen Domer). Growing up, UM fans were several orders of magnitude more obnoxious than MSU fans - especially when they imitated that radio moron, Ufer. I ended up going to med school at UM, but only because in-state tuition and a top-5 ranking outweighed my hatred for their football team. So, to me, loss to UM = loss of season.
