Rumor is that he has mono, which means he will definitely miss the Stanford game and almost certainly the bowl game, as well.
Oh the patty melt from steak and shake...
amazing drunk food
So he doesn't have Mono? Seems like he is hoping he can play this week.Ok. So I talked one of stephon's good friends here at ND and she said that he sat out of the BC game so he could play in the Stanford game. He has to pass some mono tests but according to his friend he plans on playing Saturday. Obviously if the tests dont go as planned he wont be on the field, but that news was promising.

Wishful thinking on his part? I'm thinking that might be the case.According to his friend he had some form of mono but is expecting/hoping to play this weekend, but has to pass some medical tests to get approval, and expects to pass those tests.

Probably. But his friend made it seem as if it was more likely that he would play than not. Again, probably wishful thinking, I guess well find out soon.
Not doubting your friend at all, but I dont see any scenario where he intentionally sat out one game to play in the next. I have to believe if he couldve played against BC, he would have. Perhaps your friend meant the rest he got by not playing will serve him well next week.
I understand, and am of the same opinion as you. Just thought I'd relay that information to this board.
It's not that unlikely that he would rest a week in the hopes that he would be ready this week. As I said in the post above (that seems to have been ignored) the course of mono is VARIABLE. It is possible that he might be able to play this week (even if unlikely)... even if only with limited snaps.
Shrug...I've been friends on FB with him since he first verbaled to ND. I don't ever interact with him, nor do I ever go to his page. but, these pics came up into my news feed today...So I was like ahaha caught the culprit. If he has mono, there's no way they'll let him play. They wouldn't let me play Interhall when I had mono, and even told me not to play pickup basketball. There's too much danger of the spleen being ruptured.
And Sherm, are those from his facebook? Because that's a little creepy.
