This was an incredibly satisfying victory. The media has been on their **** all year and they were getting way too cocky. Wasn't long ago their fans were wearing bags over their heads, but they get off to a modestly good start this year and they acted like they were on top of the world.

The lions, the league doormat for several years, started of 5-0, which is apparently only a modestly good start to you(?), and you think they shouldn't have felt like they were on the top of the world?

I guess you guys would have cried murder back in the 70s and 80s. Those guys played harder and dirtier than anything Suh may or may not have done. Suh has been dumped on for being an aggressive player, I don't think he is dirty at all.

Even as a Bears fan, I agree with this and generally love watching Suh play with killer intensity. I feel a few of his plays were "dirty" only in the sense that they violated the current rules of the NFL, which I am not a fan of. Fairley's hit on Cutler and Stafford's facemask though (and Moore's retaliation), were just outright dirty.

I also really hope the NFL reexamines its "defenseless receiver" rule and makes some changes. Lance Briggs was flagged for a personal foul while playing perfect defense, but he delivered a hard hit with his shoulder on Calvin Johnson right after he made a catch. What else is he supposed to do? I've seen good defensive plays flagged in other games involving other teams throughout the season as well. I understand trying to protect the health of the players, but at some point the players have to understand and accept some of the risk they are taking by playing the sport (helmet to helmet should still be illegal). They are trying to diminish the role of defense in the game to attract more casual fans who love seeing points on the board.

As Rhode stated earlier, the Lions love this "bad boy" image, and will market it all they can. Suh will continue to act victimized by league officials, and Schwartz will continue to be on the sidelines screaming bloody murder after every call. We will just have to deal with it, and luckily the Bears dealt with it yesterday by putting the Lions over their knee and spanking them.

I'm not a cocky fan by any means. The Lions have a much tougher schedule down the stretch. But with that stated as of right now the Lions would be the 5 seed for the playoffs and the Bears the 6. While typing all the **** talking just remember you are still below us.

Who needs more than 230 yards when the defense and special teams outscore your opponent?

Well that will change in a hurry on Thanksgiving. detroit is only ahead of Chicago right now because the Bears lost to green bay. Chicago takes tie-breaker (more points) after pack beats lions.

Are we talking about the present or maybe if. Like I said I'm not a cocky fan. Note the reason I wasn't claiming the Lions were superior nor did I state it would be this way come the end of the regular season. Again today, tomorrow, and atleast until the next game, you are below us.

Let the Lions fan enjoy his 1 decent season in the last 20 years or something.

Too bad it'll crumble before playoff time.

Don't forget the Lions play GreenBay at the end of the year as well. You know, when the best teams lay it down and take it easy. The should beat Carolina, Minnesota, Oakland, SanDiego & maybe NewOrleans, but the second GreenBay game will tell the tale.

The Bears have the next four against the lowly AFC West teams, then Seattle. Not to look too far ahead...but we (CHI) could be at 11-3 going into the Green Bay game, with Minnehaha in week 17.

That brutal early season schedule could play into our favor down the stretch.

So I just saw what I'm guessing is the awful Suh hit where he rips off Cutler's helmet...that wasn't dirty. He was trying to chop the ball and wrap at the same time. Cutler went down while Suh attempted this and it made the hit higher than he intended.

You guys might dub me one of the dirtiest players ever if you saw how I bring people down. lol

I didn't think the Suh hit was that bad. Seemed unintentional to me.

The Stafford take down on the INT return and the hit on Cutler in the endzone were both shameful. Moore's postgame interview was right on...you're dealing with a kid's livelihood with crap like that.

And the Lions made it seem like Moore was at fault....that Stafford was out of the play. He was only out of the play because Moore blocked him.

I'd probably **** Stafford up if he did that to me too. This is more cheap than the Suh tackle.

The Fairley shot on Cutler was probably the dirtiest of the game, but Neither to Megatron hit wasn't far off. The Stafford ones was cheap.

Can't get it to edit on my phone. That's suppose to be the Briggs on Megatron hit.

I'm viewing things through my Bears goggles, but I didn't think the Briggs hit was that bad. It was in the flow of the game and he pretty much led with his shoulder. I'm not surprised it got flagged. I have no complaint about that, given the current climate about such hits. But, I don't think it was even close to the Cutler hit or the Stafford take down.

Moore was interviewed by ESPN yesterday and said all the right things, like "The Lions aren't a dirty team," and how he understood Stafford's reaction after another INT. Kudos to him for not holding a grudge, although the rivalry would have been helped by a few disparaging remarks lol.
