I had the Wake argument with people at work after our close win and predicted they would come out swinging against Clemson. Wake is an extremely well-coached football team. But, for the first time in a long time, I'm starting to believe we are too.. or at least we're getting close to being one.

If Wake holds on, and if I am reading it correctly they should be 1st in the Atlantic Division of the ACC. Clemson, FSU, and Wake would all have 2 losses. Wake beat FSU and if they hang on they would have a win over Clemson. Should put them in first and headed to the ACC Championship game against probably VT.

Just goes to show how awful of a Coach Brian Kelly is and that he should be fired immediately! What a f*cking joke he is and what he is making of our beloved traditional program. We beat Wake a lot more convincingly than #9 Clemson did in their own house.


The topic of this thread still applies, Wake is/was a good team. We looked better last week than Clemson did today. Growing pains yo.

Even if Wake didn't win, the close outcome makes me believe we could hang with Clemson. Also, the Nebraska vs. PSU game wasn't overly impressive; we'd give either of those teams a run for their money.
