Currently sitting 38th on offense and 39th on defense. According to the NCAA.

Yeah, but at the start of the year, Crist was the QB, and I think most people expected big things from him this year.

We were 17th in Offense and 12th in Defense before Wake Forest. We're not likely to drop much in either category after the game.

Hard to be a top 20 offense when you really only use 2 people in the passing game. If it wasn't for Floyd and Eifert i t would probably be worse. Defense is kinda surprising considering how bad our secondary is.

It is amazing to me that people still don't understand how worthless unweighted statistics are. If we can't start from a place where we are using viable measurements, it is really difficult to have a worthwhile conversation about where we "rank" with our production. And if it seems crazy to people that we could have a top-20 offense and a top-20 defense and be sitting at 6-3, there is a one word answer to that problem: turnovers.

I don't think they are worthless. They have limited worth.
