The only thing I ask...and it can be done...teams have done it before...is that on 3rd and long we put a FREAKING SPY or ACCOUNT FOR THE FREAKING QB.

For all that has gone wrong, nothing has irked me more than Price scrambling for 10+ yards on 3rd and long when our DL gets no push and all our LBs have vacated the vicinity due to man coverage.

C'mon ... Jamoris completely looking like a fool, d-line isn't getting off blocks, not to mention we are low on men down there, backers not covering ... Thats not all Diaco. I get that the defense is playing bad but when my wife can say, " What the hell is that guy doing?"

I agree about Diaco. There is absolutely no question he brings energy and is a huge upgrade over Tenuta, but I dont know that Diaco is the guy that can lead this defense to the next level. Unfortunately playing musical chairs with a position as vital as DC does nothing but set the entire defense back with every new scheme they need to learn and adapt to.

As far as offense and how it relates to tonight, Tommy Rees needs to find the bench and stay there. Id like to see Chris get another shot, then Hendrix next man in at this point. Rees is too limited and has not had a good game against a good defense yet in his ND career. At some point it is time to accept he is who he is, and were nowhere near a BCS caliber team with him behind center.

All that being said, this is still a game I expect the team to come out and win in the second half. The O-line is having another decent game, the only thing I wonder is where all the crossing routes and quick passes are. It seems like everything is downfield, and after seeing Rees try and operate downfield in that first half I now understand why we haven't done it all season.

16 rushes, 11 passes. It's not like it was completely unbalanced.

However, I thought that the run calling was kind of bland. We ran that same cutback run how many times? 10 out of 16, it seemed like?

Where I am the ND game is playing on ABC and the Oklahoma State game is on ESPN2... I don't understand. But hey, every one is watching the BAMA game, so no one will be mad .

People that criticize gameplans and playcalling should attach their football resume to lend credibility to their statements...kidding, I know it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Maybe playcalling matters more than I give it credit for. But it seems to me that the faster, more energetic players tend to win. In other words, if ND's linebackers and safeties weren't slow as sh*t, those quarterback scrambles, drag routes and crossing patterns don't consistently go for 15 yards.

Yea, I actually thought that- barring any deep ball, especially that meaningless one into cover 3, Tommy looked alright. Quick release an accurate on the short routes. It's not ideal, but it could be a lot worse.
