i hate to say it, because i absolutely love shipping up to boston, but BC's been using that to open the game for a while now (according to my twin brother, who goes to BC). having said that, i really just dont care, and loved it as our opening.

I am not wed to tradition. Jumbotron? Yes, please. More non-band music? Absolutely. More night games, even, God forbid, Thursday or Friday night? Sign me up.
But entrance music? This is not the WWF. After seeing my first game this year, it is something incredible when the stadium is full and the team hits the field to the Victory March. I can't speak for anybody but myself but, as a fan, that pumped me up beyond belief and as someone who played from age eight to 22, I never heard anything going on around me unless I was on the sidelines in a blowout. If you need to hear heavy metal to get up for a game then you shouldn't be playing. As a fan, if you cannot enjoy the Victory March when they take the field, bring your iPod.

Don't know if they've had them on previous walks, but there was a group of bagpipers leading the team from the library to the Stadium.

Take it one step further, and have the bagpipers at the tunnel entrance playing a traditional Irish song (or Scotland the Brave, who's looking). Players come out arm and arm, swaying to the music as the bagpipers cresecendo, part, and fade the music as the players storm to the field and the band hits the Victory March.

THAT WOULD BE ELECTRIC.

Reminding everybody about this thread. I sent an email today saying they did a good job mixing up the music, but that some people want to hear more of the traditional marching band things so they should figure out a way to manage it so we can have both.

I want to hear rap. Enough Ozzy, ACDC and whatever else we play. Shipping out to Boston also. Sorry to hate. But mix it up.

The ushers need to calm down a little some people infront of me today were doing pushups and got yelled at for safety. But it would be amazing to see the whole stadium doing pushups and not just the student section.

homer11... ignoring the ridiculous racism and just utter lack of correct information in your previous posts for a second... are you trying to say that aren't any rap songs out there that would work for the audience and the team? If so, is this another one of your beliefs (like how Florida State is sooooooo good) that you won't change no matter what kind of information to the contrary is provided to you?

Trying to decide whether I want to check out of this thread or give a couple links to hooks from popular rap songs that could work well during TV timeouts, etc.

Your the one who asked if we could recruit the number one player in the country. Now your saying Rap music shouldn't be played cause 95 percent of our fans are white. When Shipping up to Boston started blaring on the speakers before kickoff the crowd just seemed to kick up a notch. I noticed that on some other occasions too when the music kicked in. A great addition, they just need to figure out when to use it and when to let the band do its thang
