For the Navy game. Per Kelly's radio interview tonight. Hadn't seen it posted anywhere, so apologies if it is.

It's in the Navy thread but this is fine. I like it a lot. Need to get your playmakers the ball

It's indeed look-to-future time at #NotreDame. RT @oaknd1: BK says Atkinson will be in the backfield this week.

This is correct I saw it on twitter.

Atkinson deserves time at running back. He has made a huge impact on special teams so why not on the offense?

I get that you want to get your playmakers the ball, but we ran it under 20 times last game with our two already very good runningbacks.

Also to show incoming recruits and possible leans our way that if you are good enough, you will play immediately.

Cierre or Jonas must be in the doghouse.

Definitely not Jonas. And I hope Cierre isn't. When he's not trying to take it to the house on every play, his vision is amazing. They should reward Atkinson though. That's two games now he's made plays that have changed the momentum.

I feel Cierre maybe in the doghouse after his mental lapse last weekend, and Jonas I feel has earned a starting spot this year. But I think GAIII will come in early, he maybe stayong at runningback for the rest of his ND career. I wounldn't mind having GAIII and Will Mahone as our backfield. Sounds nasty if you ask me.

Go Irish!!

Probably Cierre "Jab Step, Spin, Shake and Bake, Lose 2yds and Not Get the First Down" Jones. He pissed BK off a couple of times doing that in the USC game... Theo has that same routine sometimes too. Eifert is the only one who consistently gets up field and Jonas (this year) of course.

Mix it up, Run it 80x... I'm good with that, less chance of Tommy throwing an interception.

In the pregame of the Sun Bowl, Kelly mentioned that he begins thinking about the following year in November.

Is it possible that he doesn't want to go into 2012 with the same backfield situation he had coming into this year, in terms of experience. Mostly likely he is just getting young guys reps at this point so the learning curve is better in the spring.

Who's Cierre Jones? Is he a new guy?

The RB on my NCAA 2011 dynasty team. Can't get that kid to get up field for the life of me. I know its not the dude with the stix in his hands.

Put yeah what I meant to do was add TJ in that post but I got a couple of wires crossed.

I know this is wayyyy off topic, but from the picture you put up I had to say something.
I moved up here to Cincy about 10 weeks ago....but while I was living in Knoxville we had a bar/pizzeria downtown called Barley's(a truly awesome place)...and behind their upstairs bar they had a "Jump to Conclusions Mat." It was the pinnacle of my existence seeing that in person.

I got blasted saying we could use another stud in the backfield earlier, now that Wood's didn't play well you are now seeing why you can't have too many studs in the backfield.

Good maybe this will show some of these other players either play hard and right or you will lose time.
