I want Mayweather to win because of his legacy and if he wins, it is the only remote chance that there be a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight.

But I watched 24/7 and Ortiz seems like a genuine, hard working dude. I think experience wins, though.

I agree, Ortiz seems like a good kid that enjoys life. I wish him the best but I think Floyd will win. Ortiz will have to hurt him a few times to have a chance.

I want Mayweather to win.. Boxing NEEDS him to fight Pacquiao. Not sure how legit this site is but check out what I quoted from the article..

Pacquiao claims he “will fight Mayweather next year” | Ring Rap

Legendary pugilist Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao told BoxingScene.com Wednesday he will fight undefeated former titlist “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather sometime in 2012.

“I will fight Mayweather next year,” said Pacquiao, 32, the first pugilist in history to win 10 world crowns in eight separate weight divisions.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum recently tweeted that obstacles no longer remain for cementing a bout that would finally pit the two iconic prizefighters against each other.

“There are no issues,” tweeted Arum, who noted both the finances and drug testing procedures for the fight have been agreed to.

Mayweather will outclass Ortiz no question. Ortiz has no skill, terrible footwork and makes way too many mistakes. Brawlers should not be in the ring with boxers. I see Mayweather v Gatti ver2.0 all over again.

lol....I bet all of my 74 vbucks.

This was the best video I could find, sorry about the commentary.

I understand being upset after the headbutt, really I do. I also understand that a lot of fault is laid at the feet of the ref, when fighters touch gloves it's game time. But to not only end the fight when Ortiz is obviously apologizing, but to also get into it with an 80year old man post fight? Wow, stay classy Money Mayweather.

This fight caused a near race riot at my parents next door neighbors house last night... the neighbors are Hispanic and were having a birthday party for their five year old girl... big time party, but every thing was FINE.... totally harmless. In fact from my undersanding they didn't even watch the fight, nor did they care.

then the fight ended, ( I suppose I should pretense this whole thing by saying the parents live in a HEAVY majority African American area).... and some gang of about ten black dudes come to the nieghbors house with bats and chains, start chanting stuff like "Who won the fight?" and "Go back home." and, well, you can imagine the rest of the stuff they were saying...

the father (my parents neighbor) is a really good guy and an Iraq war vet. for crying out loud and should not have to put up with racial crap like that,.... and he didn't... but the end result was three people sent to the hospital, more cops than I have ever seen in one little street in my life and a neighborhood that seems like it is ready to explode today... seriously, my parents and their neighbors don't even want to go home.
