Question, how in the world did the Irish lose to Central Florida? Michigan dealt with the same weather conditions without a turnover. Maybe ND was looking ahead. I fully expect a better game from the Irish this saturday night.
I expect another exciting game this year. Even though UM has a new coach, I suspect Denard Robinson will be running a lot of the same spread plays that burned the Irish last year. I also expect ND to move the ball at will against the same UM defense. Even a new D coach cannot do miracles with the same personnel. The only difference will be that UM D coach Greg Mattison will throw more blitz packages at your QB in hope that the Irish make more turnovers.
Here is too an exciting game on UM's historic first night game in the Big House. May the best team win!
And to reference the thread title, I've been there. Big, yes, but that's about it. I went to the ND and OSU game 2 years back. Away teams are very well represented inside your stadium. OSU may have actually had more than U of M did in attendance that day. Something that would never happen at ND.
Nebraska that one year.
