Its on the eastside of indianapolis, and if you are aware the eastside isnt exactly the nicest area and i understand that but the area in which the bar is located is some what nice. The building itself is again not the nicest in the world kind of dive bar. The bar is none smoking and we have some authentic irish food along with burgers wraps and fried foods. I EXPECT THE BAR TO BE NOTHING BUT BLUE AND GOLD ON GAME DAYS....KAPEESH?

And what is your work schedule? I want my free first round dammit!

Just kidding. If I make it out to Indy from California, I will definitely check it out. I am a self-proclaimed dive bar aficionado .

Here in my town, we have a bar called Swallow's Inn (it's San Juan Capistrano so, you know, the "swallows come back to Capistrano" and all that?). It is the bar where all the interior bar shots for the movie "Heartbreak Ridge" were filmed. Total dive bar! Bras on the ceiling, sawdust on the floor, dark and kind of dingy. One of the regular waitresses was working while she was about 8 months pregnant. A pregnant waitress ups the "dive" value considerably. Anyhow, it is one of my favorite bars in the world. It has a barber shop attached to it and my wife used to get really mad at me because every time I would get my haircut, I would come home HAMMERED!

Sorry I rambled a bit there. I am at the end of my work day and I am bored to tears. All the dive bar talk really perked me up a bit!

I will have to get back home and check out your bar on the eastside. Every time I head back home, I'm in Broadripple because I have family that live on 61st and Wintrhop and it's nice being able to walk to and from the bars and restaurants.
