"Baylor and Oklahoma State have been showing the most interest. I've been to some of the spring practices at Baylor, met all of the coaches and they loved me as a student athlete and loved my film, Oklahoma State as well. Michigan and Tulsa loved my film also and said they'll be keeping in touch. Before going to the next level I need to gain some weight and work on my tackling. I think a lot more schools are starting to show interest because I finally got my film out to coaches, so I'm going to wait until this summer to make my decision. I'm was invited to the ultimate 100 combine June 26 and Nike combine April 10th and I'm going to be at TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Alabama, Oklahoma State, Texas and Florida camps this Summer."

Notre Dame and Texas Tech were at Waco High on Monday to see 2012 cornerback Will Hines (Waco, Texas/Waco High). The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder said on Monday night that Notre Dame (Coach Crooks) and Texas Tech verbally offered Monday. He had previous verbal offers from Baylor and North Texas along with interest from the Big 12, Big 10, Mountain West and C-USA.

Who is Coach Crooks? Sounds like he belongs in the SEC.

This sounds like the war-room deciding that some of the other offers are getting to be longer shots and that one more stud safety is all we need in the class. If Hines would sign, most other offers could be pulled and just an elite "extra" to a DB left open [sort of like Huggins and Carlisle at RB last year].
