Would be a huge pick up for the Badgers. Russell is a good, veteran QB who could most definately propel them to a Big Ten championship this year.

smart move on both ends...they gotta fill a few holes on the offensive and defensive lines, but this will allow them to compete...he's a different type of QB than they're used, though, it'll be interesting to see how he would do running their type of offense compared to NC State.

Nope, he's taking post-grad classes, so he can play right away.

He has already graduated but still has eligibility so that means he can play right away.

You can transfer to another D-1 school without having to sit out a year as long as you enroll in a graduate program at the new school that the previous school didn’t offer.

AHHHH I see. I didn't realize he graduated already. He only has 1 year of eligibility left im assuming? I wouldnt want to use that year of eligibility staying at NC state either.

I don't know what the QB situation is at Wisconsin but this kid can play. Would expect them to open up their offense some because Wilson is dangerous in the open field.

I don't know what the QB situation is at Wisconsin but this kid can play. Would expect them to open up their offense some because Wilson is dangerous in the open field.

I know a lot of people are high on Wilson and he had some great games last year, but....he struggled versus good teams. 58% completion percentage and 3.0 yards a carry ain't that great. But is a huge upgrade over the rest at UW.
