It's lame. We know the player we are getting, screw Rivals (and the others). If they didn't shuffle rankings, how much attention would they get? Has Cierre regressed so much during the offseason? lol

I can't wait for him to get on Campus. I feel like he is cocky but he's gonna back it up.

I can't wait for 1000 yards behind Hughes at FB......jk, I wish Hughes would move to FB though.

I LOVEEE Cierre, think hes a great talent, and great kid, with a swagger we need at ND.... but is anyone worried about if he will be the stud we hope ?... didnt seem to show well at the Army Game, (which obv doesn't mean everything) and had a slower Senior year with his team moving up a class. I d k, interested to hear your thoughts, i HOPE the kids what we are missing tho !.

The only thing we are missing at RB is an OL! I do not think Cierre Wood is going to be an impact player for 2+ years. I think our current RB stable improves a lot this year and Cierre barely sees the field.

I'm not sure if Cierre plays or not (I believe he will) but I believe we will be nearly as good as we were bad 2 years ago. We were young 2 years ago and we are now older and if a freshmen plays it means he is really good not just filling the depth chart. I can't wait for the season to start.

I don't think Wood see's the field at all. Also, am I the only one who thinks Jonas Gray will get a decent amount of playing time?

Jonas is a tough kid and hard worker. I think he sees the field a lot as well.

It didn't have anything to do with his team moving up a class. He was taken out of a lot games in the third or early fourth quarter. In one game this year he had something like 250 yards rushing in the first half. He missed the last couple of games with an ankle injury as well, so that affected his stats. The kid is a stud! He flat out makes people look silly. Go to YouTube and look at some of his film and judge for yourself. I have been saying all along I think this kid will play right away and will see his playing time increase throughout the season. From what I have seen, he is just too good to keep him off the field. He is my pick to be the "Michael Floyd" of '09.

and yes i agree with the others on Jonas , i think he could make a big impact this year !

My only hope with the running back position is that I just pray someone seizes the opportunity to take the position. I hope a position battle breeds a really great back this year. I hope it isn't a case of who is sucking the least on any given play. Someone needs to step up and grab the job and be THE MAN! Whoever that is, I hope it results in a stud of a running back.

"TAKE OVER" is the key phrase. I don't want someone to win the position by default. I don't want there to be any question week in and week out.

I have Irish ties... some really old ones my dad gave me from the 70s..with the old school leprechaun. My office is already a Notre Dame shrine which defies every Texas and Texas A&M Grad at my office.
