I'm not sure if I'm misreading this article (and apologies if I am) but it sounds like he got a DUI on a suspended license but is getting the suspended license charge thrown out and the DUI knocked down... even though this is his second DUI on a suspended license. I want his lawyer...

my old college roommate is on DUI charge #4 and has never spent more than 30 days in jail. michigan is so hard up for money, they'd rather plea down and make some revenue off the fines and put you right back into the work force (not there is much work to find in michigan...thats another oprah). my buddy still works in a bar. go figure.

and yes...he pays the best dui lawyer in gr. it works.
