I finally ditched the 8 tracks when my '67 Volvo passed away in '94. It had the last 8 track player I owned.

It would be just my luck that this Rapture thing happens this evening – I just made the final payment on my house ten days ago. Had I known about it I wouldn't have paid off the mortgage in 24 years instead of 30. In fact, I would have stopped paying six months ago, let the loan default and the lengthy foreclosure proceedings begin, and used the money for a trip to Ireland.

The gift to see the future....it would be a beautiful thing lol

I recall (perhaps erroneously) that it was a "Rolling" Rapture/Recall. That is, the start of the end [at 6:10 PM] was based on one's time zone.

Reports from Japan, Australia, etc. are encouraging. I'm still drinking my *** off for the next 30 minutes.

Don't despair ... there's still the Mayan Calendar llama pucky to look forward to next year.
