I had some friends on the lacrosse team at ND and went to some games ... but it was a club sport then, and between the keg on the sideline and a bit of pre-game "herbal therapy," the memories are a bit sketchy.

haha I met some former club players at the annual Steak and Hot Dog game. Really nice guys. I'll make a consolidated post for you (and other inquisitive folks) in the Notre Dame Athletics section shortly.

On another note, coming back to write that feature was also awesome because the ESPN lacrosse affiliate got me hooked up with a press pass for the Pitt game. One of the cooler experiences of my life.

Yeah it was crazy. I was watching thinking that we've got to be able to score more to win, but Hunwick and Co. dominated on D. They did a great job at limiting good clean shots, just wild to watch. Oh well, again good season for your hockey and womens bball teams!

I love my Bulldogs. To win the national championship is beyond huge to me. Honestly, it is equal to ND winning the football national championship, if not more because of it being the first in men's hockey. I'm so happy that the game winning goal was from a senior, home town kid. Congratulations!
