Huge trap game. Going to be close. I'm taking USF with the points. I think ND wins but I think it's within a 5 point game with 2 to play. It's tough to play 4 games in 10 days.

I'm about to watch the game on espn3. Who is South Florida's best player? I don't know much about them besides that the lost to Marquette by 1.

Always tough when you are coming off an emotional victory, and go to south Florida in the dead of winter, when you have a week off afterwards. There is a reason EVERYONE struggles at USF. I hope we can get a win and just get the hell out of there.

So much for these theories. I didnt know the score yet, and while reading them I was in concurrence. I was thinking "yea, good call Lax."

Then I checked the score...

Wow I was WAY off. I'm usually pretty darn good with my "gut" when it comes to college games. Can't believe how dominant we were today considering how tired we should be with limited depth and playing so many games in a short span.

Very impressed with this team.

I've been looking for a little while online but without much success...can someone tell me who on the ND b-ball team is 5th year eligible? They seem to say it every game but I don't think I've ever heard them say who has another year of eligiblity?

Seniors:
Abro
Hansbrough
Kopko
Martin (guessing he's one w/the knee injury)
Nash
Scott

Thanks for your help!

Will Scott Martin get a 6th year of eligibility because this is only his second year playing basketball in college

NCAA allows 5 years to play 4. He played as a frosh at PU. Sat out his soph year under NCAA transfer rules. Sat out jr year with preseason ACL and then surgery. Playing his second season now in his 4th year on the NCAA clock.

Like Wenger he can apply for a 6th year for the year lost to a medical issue. He would still need Brey's OK and ND's Faculty Board that approves post graduate athletes academically.
