Mcbob will be a good role player through out his career, but foster will retire after this season. Dunleavy is an expiring and i expect him to be traded in the next few weeks. 4 white guys on one team....say it aint so??????

melo would sign an extension withthe lakers if he went there.
the lakers are looking to unload artest and the bobcats have interest in him but he doesn't want to go there.
byrum is the main piece in the deal for melo but the nuggets want draft picks and younger players to rebuild the team around.

yes there is, its just not going on in CLE. I think the Cavs are on hiatus for 2010-2011. I think they are due to start back up again after the 2010-2011 season.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering why I haven't been seeing highlights on SportsCenter...

the Lakers cant win with the current team they have. They cant match up against a healthy BOS team, no way. Plus, lets face it, the Lakers are not motivated.

Bynum is a joke, cant play a full season, a 7 footer with 2 busted up knees and all I hear as a lakers-fan is how good he is GOING to be. It doesnt matter how good he is going to be, he cant be counted on now, cant be counted on in the past, and will not be counted on in the future. They should have dumped him previously when everyone thought he had this tremendous upside. He has no upside, he cant make it onto the court. A 7footer, that cant play a whole season, 2 bad knees, and 4year/$50million salary...puhleez. I'm so over Brittle Bynum, cut him loose. I'll give it up for bynum tyhat he played well in the finals, but that was for only 2weeks. If the Lakers needed a big man just for the finals, they should have picked up Shaq, for alot cheaper. At least Shaq makes it onto the court.

If they can get Melo and keep enough of the core, then its a good deal. Kobe needs 2 more rings.

What a joke. Bynum is a two time champion. What are you talking about he "hasn't done it in the past"? Ask Dwight Howard. He will disagree with you.

Count me as a Laker fan that is AGAINST this idea.

Bynum is by far the best young big man in the NBA.

BTW: I still would only bet money on the Lakers to win the title.

Boston? Please.
San Antonio? Please.
Miami? Lakers are going to abuse them inside.

7 games allows a team(the Lakers) to make adjustments and capatilize on them. 1 game is just that. Anything can happen.

Come on, as ND fans, we should understand that the Lakers get EVEYBODY's best every night. However, come playoff time, the opponent can't bank on adrenilin(sic) and oh, btw, Odom, Gasol and Bynum don't get shorter than 7ft just because said opponent is, um, tired.

Oh, and Kobe Bryant.

Keep laughing to all of the Laker haters. We aren't going to peak early just 'cause yall are prematurly writting the book on us. Phil and Kobe have been here before and know what it takes. We aren't Boston and San Anton, trying to go out and prove something in Febuary when we all know what time it is.

Go Lakers, Go Three Peat, Go ND BCS bowl game in 2012.

DJ Mbenga has 2 rings; Sasha Vujacic has 2 rings; I think Mark Madsen has 2 rings as well; Robert Horry has 7 rings, does that make him HOF material? Does that make him better than Jordan? The only person in the Lakers organization that wants to keep Bynum is Jim Buss, his stubbornness is going to go down with the LAkers ship. Do you think PJ wants Drew around?? Kobe?

Bynum is by far the best young big man in the NBA.

Bynum's potentially one of the best young big men in the league, but last I checked, potential doesnt win a damn thing...missing over 120 games in less than 4 years isnt going to win anything either (see Grant Hill's career). If you know anything about big men with regards to the nba, what does it say about Bynum's potential that he now has 2 surgically repaired knees? Are you aware of the stigma on a 7 ft big man with 1 bad knee? Bynum has 2 bad knees. Anytime a big man in the nba gets any type of injury from the hip to the foot, it potentially spells big trouble. No need to look to far for an example, check out Yao Ming's career.

what is the Lakers record against these teams this year? I'll give you hint, it starts 0-

Boston - Lakers cant match up personal wise. i mean, just do the math.
Miami -already smoked the lakers on their home floor and it wasnt pretty, how did Bynum do in that game?
San Antonio - what is the Lakers record against SA this year? have they beat them once yet? were the games close? How did bynum do in those games?

I am a life long Lakers-fan, not a hater at all, and defintely not laughing. I consider myself a realist. But the current team wont make it out of the Western Conference Finals.

I'm thinking SA vs. BOS in the finals
