This is actually one that is a tough one. (for me)

J. Clausen 22/31 300 yards 2 TD 0 Int and playing hurt.

A. Allen 23 rushes 115 yards 5.0 yards a carry, 1 rush TD 1 Pass TD

K. McCarthy for saving a sure OT if not worse.

I am giving mine to Armando. Carried the weight pretty hard. You can't ask for more than 5 yards a carry. Didn't panic when he threw the TD pass, looked like he got banged up pretty good as well.

Like I said, this one was a tough-ie for me.

Rather heroic efforts by all the specialists you mentioned, but this has to be a team gameball. They fought.

I'm giving mine to ClausentoFloyd for his halftime speech that got our boys fired up to win!!! Oh wait, I must have dreamt that.

Kyle McCarthy gets mine really, no doubt. Sometimes the one play made at a critical time earns you respect.

I couldn't agree more with you. They did fight it out. ( I just had to give to one, you know me) - I wish our defense looked better on the line. Some here have been calling out Walls, rightfully so, he needs to kick it up more than a couple of notches, I know he could do better. I would have liked him to intercept that one pass he had his hands on, would have given him a couple of brownie points. I would like to see more Teo, and freaken less dumb penalties. Sparty out passed us, had more total yardage, and had 60 yards less in penalties. I know we can do better as a team, Defensive wise. I can't ask much more from the offense.

p.s. would have liked to have seen CW call Olsen to the sideline after the dumb personal foul penalty and shake him up by his facemask a little bit, Holtzy style.

This is a tough one but I have to say it goes to the whole team today. The gameball goes to the team!

If I had to pick one it would be K. McCarthy/D. Flemming! Without the int this game may be LOSS:(

True Dat!!

Don't want to take anything away from McCarthy, just thought that without Allen being a compete stud today, we may not have been in the position to win.

I'm sorry guys but i have to go with JC on this today more than anytime in his 3 yrs he has finally showed us his heart and determination that many of us have been bitching about for sometime. The kid played hurt most of the game and still threw for 300 yards 2 td o INTs. to me this is just amazing finally he's got it.

I'd give it to Kirk Cousins.

But in all seriousness.. Clausen. He had another 300+ yard game and no interceptions without his best receiver for more than half the game.

Clausen. And Weis chose him to sing the alma mater after the game so Weis pretty much gave him the game ball too.

Clausen, and it wasn't even close.

And LOL @ the person who said Clausen "finally showing heart", Clausen has been the best QB in college football since the Hawaii game. Clausen is the single most valuable player on the team over the last 4 games. Clausen is the foundation to our entire offense, and, unfortunately, our offense is our entire team.

Kyle McCarthy is beasting too. I thought he was going to be a solid veteran Safety who was on the field for his experience more than his skill -- but he's been a playmaker all season long.

Jimmy Clausen. Showed that he is a true leader of this team. Hard to give it to one guy, but overall i think Clausen kept the spirits high jumping off that table and wanting the game in his hands. This kid will give the team a chance to win week in and week out. Go Irish!!

Clausen. Played thruw injury and brought us back again.

Honerable mention to AA and McCarthy

^Agreed^

Clausen showing leadership by hanging in there after getting hurt and seeing this game thru. Stats aside, JC stepped up when his team needed him. A leader is born

Clausen loves his teammates.....

AA looks like a new RB this year, he has been the man all year, I feel good for him that he has turned it up a notch.

Kyle McCarthy, was put in to make a difference and he did just that.

I have to give the game ball to Ethan Johnson for blocking the XP. If he doesn't block that XP, they are just running it at the end of the game to kick a FG for the win.

I would just add that both lines busted their butts on every single play, with full contact on every single play. It was obvious.

I have always been a huge Jimmy supporter and agree that he has been phenomenal, but it is easy to give props to other specialists who make one or two game winning plays, while the line goes unnoticed.

Armando and McCarthy were also phenomenal yesterday.

Holy poop Batman, I woke up today and the refs did not overturn the ND victory! My lil dogs won!
