Couple of Qoutes from Scouts Inc.:

Notre Dame DT Ian Williams is having a good day. He's showing good first-step quickness, leverage and power.

Irish spring
We were surprised how well Notre Dame DT Ian Williams played today. He's not a great athlete but had a quick first step, used good leverage, showed good initial power and the ability to hold his position against the run. One of the most effective linemen during the 2-on-1 (two offensive linemen) drills.

I watched some of the practice this morning on NFL network (rare snow day from work) and he looked particularly great in the 1-on-1s, specifically tossing one Badger OL to the ground (Carimi I believe, who is a top 5 OT prospect).

Yep he did here is a quote:
Wisconsin OT Gabe Carimi did not have his A-game today...tossed to the ground by Notre Dame's Ian Williams at the end of a play in drills

Hey Ironman I don't think he ended up attending the Shrine game last week, since he must have been a late add to the senior bowl.

Thats probably why we didn't see him in the game, or heard about him in practice lol. Mystery solved.

Trying to find the link but it had physical descriptions of every player at the senior bowl. It was pretty funny but all i remember was them commenting on Ian's bubblebutt, and it was a good thing.

Interesting read

LOL thats the one, Gotta love the Fireplug

Bunch of great quotes in that one:

Jeremy Kerley: V-shaped torse ripped with a six-pack

Titus Young: Thin with no definition. Goofy gait. Small chicken-like legs

James Carpenter: Soft, flabby, and very unimpressive

Rodney Hudson: Squatty with thick midsection and manboobs

Kevin Kowalski: Nothing special.

Jarvis Jenkins: Soft upper-body and jiggles

Chris Neild: Fire hudrant. Stumpy but solid.

Ian Williams: Fireplug who is thick and solid with a bubble butt.

Colin McCarthy: SOFT. Awfully unimpressive.

Kai Forbath: A hint of abs, but average otherwise

Alex Henery: Ordinary person. Looks like a computer geek.

Josh Jasper: Looks like a grocery store stock boy.

Too funny.

Ian's doing very well again today, and it's getting noticed. I definitely think his stock is on the rise.

He's got potential to be a real force in the NFL. Will be money as a NT, won't get the stats, but will be the anchor of a D plugging up holes and attracting double teams that free up LB's.

And only being 6'2, he can get under the pads of O-linemen, which is why he creates such great leverage.

Should be a real find in the draft. I'm thinking 4th rounder.

Yeah his height actually surprised me. i thought he was 6' or 6'1", but 6'2" is very nice.

Don't tell me you have another snow day? Also, who has been talking about him? Has Mayock said anything? I want to see if he is bias or not.

Haha another snow day. Can't do anything up here in constant snowstorms. I like Mayock a lot, he is very insightful and informative. He does mentioned Ian when he gets the chance to. He, like everyone else, have been very impressed with the big guy this week. Here is from the ESPN day 3 blog:

Ironman8 and ND in CT...Move down here to TX! Nothing but sunshine and blondes....

of course, you have to deal with the mesh of Big12 and SEC fans.

Good luck with that snow, fellas.

Pat you have no idea...I can't remember a winter with this amount of constant snow. We have had at least 4 recent storms that brought at least a foot of snow. I can not wait for spring.
