This is turning into a great weekend. GO IRISH!!!

This is awesome. ND is building a formidable football team that will beable to compete with any team in the country within a few years. A 4 game win streak, and the team coming together did this. Imagine the potential if ND win's 9/10 game's and goes to a BCS game taking down a SEC school. If ND rolls next year, and plays to where we all know it can...watch out, BK is stock piling a arsenal of player's that "don't have mail boxes".

Also, if there another surprise? Some forum's are reporting that we are not done, and there is a surprise that on it's way that no one saw coming. Any truth to that?

Welcome home Aaron and Ms. Lynch, you have just made the best 40 year decision of your life. The journey was treacherous at times but you made it through the other side in fine shape. Welcome!!! Now you can sleep peacefully at night.

Wow what a ride. Thinking back to what Lynch, Williams, and Tuitt were doing this time last weekend and now this has all fallen into place. These last 10 days have been fun.

If Farley, Brown, Okotcha and J. Atkinson even turn out to be "pretty good" this will be a frightening defense! My fiancee does not understand why I just yelled OH MY GOD THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!.. they'll never understand.

Apparently the guys on ISD had known about the commitment and have had that story written and ready to go for 3 days now. They just needed the go ahead from the Lynch's to release it. Imagine having to sit on that info for a couple days?

I went from this: to this:

Hey Terry, I always wanted to know, is that true? Does a bear really **** in the woods?

You know, that is interesting. I have some friends that claimed before the Williams or Lynch stuff came up, there was a "silent committ" that would blow everybody's doors off. At that time there were three early entries slated, but the paperwork was in place for a fourth. His identity was a closely guarded secret. There have been hints of it everywhere. But all the guys that have gone through Notre Dame's student directory haven't seen a name like Clowney or Drew.

At least they hold on to their word. Not like Mike Farrell saying an hour before Scarlett's press conference that he was going to commit to Cal...

Women rarely do.

I explain it like this, Babe you know when you're in Nordstrom, Burberry..etc and you see the new seasons clothes/shoes/purses and your heart begins to race. Multiply that by 100. Yeah, that's what ND does to me, and why I am on Irish Envy for hours a day with hundreds of others of the most loyal, knowledgeable, and die-hard fans of any sport, at any time, and anywhere in the world.

my predictions for next year:

everett golson--5,000 yds passing, 2,000 rushing, 60 combined TDs
cierre wood--2,000 yds, 17 TDs
aaron lynch--21 sacks, 18 forced fumbes
ishaq williams--44 sacks, 5 fumble return TDs, 1 pick six
stephon tuit--7 sacks, 300 tackles
manti teo--150 tackles, 8 INTs, 14 sacks, 56 TFLs, 1 receiving TD

all of these players will win the heisman. they will all just get their own trophy.

we will give up a combined total of zero points next year. we will score around a million, give or take a few points here or there.

anyone have any more kool-aid? i ran out...

You want to think a big thought? These three are all EE's. They have an extra spring to learn the D, and for Longo's conditioning!!!!!!
