This is by far the worst national championship game in history. Horrific game.

Wow, regular season ND gameday BS comment.

Was UF blowing out OSU 41-14 4 years ago too many years for your memory?

USC 55 OU 19 ring any bells?

Miam's 23 point win over the Huskers?

Approaching 1000 yds of Total Offense

Two goal line stands

Thomas hitting 70% of his passes.

Monster hits

Tie game with 10 seconds left ball on the 1 yd line

FG kick as time expires.

The championship decided on the last play of the game.

Let's see that's 5 NC in a row, they have the right to say the SEC is the best conference in College football, until someone dethrones them....

I did not know that the whole conference could claim National Championships. I guess Baylor can talk up the 2 championships they won thanks to Oklahoma and Texas now

Great Game, Oregon brought it but the Auburn D-line was the difference. Sucks to lose on a fluke run by Dyer, would have been more gratifying if Auburn made a real drive but you gotta play tothe whistle.

Turning point: The safety, before that Auburn was reeling and their defense was huffin and puffin. After that they took over.

I fell asleep at some point during the game, I think it may have been early 3rd Quarter. Watched the Recap.

I dont really care that I fell asleep, but I am annoyed that the game was pretty much decided by some BS tackle and then he got up and started running. I understand play til you hear the whistle blah blah blah but it was flukey.

It was only 1st down and regardless of that play, maybe they would have drove the ball within FG range, but to gain almost an additional 30 yards due to confused players is huge.

Weak ending IMO.

Holding Oregons 303 rushing yards per game to under a hundred was the difference.

Dyer's run was a what-the-hell-happened moment that symbolized this what-the-hell-happened season. The national title was decided on a play in which everyone stood still and stopped playing.

Indecision and confusion reigned, just as it did in the spring when we wondered what would become of conference alignment. Indecision and confusion reigned in the summer, when we wondered how far the rippling agent scandal would go. Indecision and confusion reigned in the past two months, as we tried to process why Newton and six Ohio State Buckeyes were allowed to play in the season's biggest games despite NCAA violations.

But Dyer's start-stop-start dash into Auburn lore was only the last surprising plot twist on a surprising night.

All I'm saying is that the SEC has won the last five National Championships, they deserve credit regardless if people like them or not. Oregon came close, but Chip Kelly should of kicked that FG instead of going for it on 4 th down and who knows maybe just maybe Oregon would have won.

But the SEC has a lot of better teams than say Pac-10. Pac-10 as far as I know only produce two good teams: Oregon & Stanford. Oregon should be good next year. We'll see probably Oregon and another SEC team next year for the National Title. Until then SEC does have the best conference and the best players.

1. Oregon left too many points on the field in the red zone.

2. I think ND should consider adding a little highlighter green to the unis.

Oregon could have stepped up, caused a turnnover, made a tackle in the backfield, and kept Auburn in deep field goal territory after that "flukey" play.

Instead, Dyer powered through their line AGAIN and brought the ball down to the one yard line.

I wish Robert Hughes ran like Dyer.

This game was very entertaining I agree with BGIF.
