UM was 12-17, 70.6%, from the arc while ND was only 3-16, 18.8%. ND hit 40% from the floor but UM hit 53%,. Abromaitis washeld to 10 pts and Hansbrough only had 9. Irish looked sloppy while Eagles flew.

ND certainly did not play well. Tough follow up less than 48 hours after the St Johns game, and still playing with out Carelton Scott.

HOWEVER, I am not sure who would have beat Marquette tonight, hitting 11 of their first 14 threes. That was just insane.

Good news is we dont play again until Sunday, and it is against a team we just beat by 15. Time to get some rest.

I've been saying this for a long time. We need to fire Brey

And hire who? Brey is fine. Winning on the road in the Big East in tough, anywhere. Brey has some great recruits going in for the next two years. this team will be exciting. Sorry we beat a couple of top ten teams this year, last year, the year before....

Are you ****ing kidding me? The man does so much with so little every year. He constantly has to tailor the way the team ways to the different talent he has and does a marvelous job. Hell, we even got two very good wins and were even with 'Cuse before our second best all-around player, Carleton Scott, got hurt.

Yeah Brey isn't the problem. ND basketball is on a steady incline and not many teams could beat marquette with the way they shot tonight. ND going 18.8% from 3 made a tough loss into a blowout. I don't think this game is anything to worry about. I grew up in the 90's when ND basketball was all but irrelevant so to be #11 in the country is nothing to complain about. We are absolutely fine, and we will come back with a vengeance next Sunday. On a side not I would like to see us improve on the road. Yeah it's the big east, and road games are tough, but we're getting into a bad habit of being lack luster on the road. Especially in second halves (see Kentucky [Freedom Hall is NOT a neutral site], Syracuse, and Marquette).
