31-14 with about 0:25 in the half.

Michigan is about to receive and I believe Mississippi State has the football first in the second half.

Looks like Rodriguez could be gone. A damn shame.

They keep saying the players love him. Do you think the players love him or they know if Harbaugh comes in, changes will take place everywhere and nobody's job is secure? Denard knows he wont be the qb under Harbaugh.

I woould disagree... you don't sit your best player (one of the freak talents in all of cfb) because his talent doesn't fit you style... DR will be the man til he leaves, no matter who coaches

I didn't say anything about sitting him. You have to keep your best athletes on the field but he is not a pro style qb. What makes him great is his ability to run. He is not an accurate drop back passer in the pocket.

He won't be the QB
He'd be in the backfield, in the slot, in some wildcat type formations.
Like Florida uses Trey Burton.
But he certainly would not be the starting QB under Big Jim.

I'll say it again...I will be shocked if Harbaugh goes to Michigan.

Unless it is his unquestioned No. 1 goal in life to be the coach at Michigan, I don't see him going anywhere near this mess.

Right now his stock is sky high, and even though it's Michigan and everything, he would still be "settling" if he went to Ann Arbor.

I keep saying it...if he really wants to coach at Michigan and if he really believes in himself as a great coach, the position will be there in the future.

Why would he look forward to fitting a square peg in a round hole with D-Rob as a drop back passer, a bunch of tiny receivers and running backs, in a switch from the spread to pro-style?

Why would he want to take over a Michigan team with the worst defense in school history, with about one quality player?

I just don't see this happening. Unless he really, really, really can't pass up this opportunity because he thinks someone else will do well at Michigan or he thinks his stock will decrease at Stanford or in the NFL...I would wait for another coach or two to turn things around a little bit so that when or if he does go to Ann Arbor it's not the complete mess that it is right now.

Remember BK was mentioned early on when U of M decided to go for DickRod. I'm sure glad he never got in the mix, and I bet he is too.

Next years game is going to be HUGE. First night game ever in Ann Arbor. 113,000 fans going crazy!

The big house is a great place to see a game, too bad there are so many MeatChicken fans there. Could be a really good game.

I don't think Michigan will fire Rich Rod unless they are certain they can get Harbaugh, and they won't know that until Luck makes his decision about the draft.

Still some time to wait on this one.

I hope the 49ers are very aggresive with Harbaugh and are able to pull him to the NFL. I don't wanna see this guy on the opposing sidelines anymore. Especially for a team we play annually.

I just don't see Jim going to Michigan. IMO he's an NFL guy and Stanford was a stepping stone to that not to go to Michigan

Brady Hoke would be next in line. Frankly as an AD/player/recruit/fan this embarrassment cannot continue. It sucks for ND because we have lost to them twice in 3 years under the worst UM football teams ever.

I can't see Brandon keeping up the charade.

I might throw gary patterson into the mix even though that is kind of a long shot and what some might even call a downgrade

Michigan/Michigan St. getting trounced by two SEC teams brings me back to the question of Notre Dame's talent level. There is no doubt that ND has taken huge strides since both the UM and MSU losses but if they were put up against a top tier SEC team, how would they fare? Hopefully, with a season under their belt in the BK system they will be BCS bound next year and maybe we can answer that question. In this day and age that will be the true test to whether or not ND is back. When ND can go toe to toe with the LSUs and Alabama's they will be back to the Fighting Irish we all have so patiently been waiting for.
