Any news on how the in-home visit went?? If Tuitt is hearing from all these other big schools Kelly and his staff need to keep on Tuitt.

Rumor has it he is visiting Auburn this weekend. I don't have link, i saw it on gold helmet. I hope it's not true.

I always thought his commitment was kind of odd. I remember that he wanted to play with Drew who also is looking at Auburn.

It isn't confirmed yet, but Auburn's Rival's site has him under a list of 'possible' visitors this weekend. Ray Drew might have talked him into it. Huggins is also going on his official to Auburn this weekend.

More reasons to root for Oregon...

I feel the same way! At this point we don't have a true DE. This guy is a must but if isn't meant to be then it isn't.

tough to pass up that steady stream of income i guess. hopefully he is a man of his word and still feels ND is the place for his future.

Regardless of what happens, NSD is a long ways away.... so brace yourselves... we may lose some, we may pick up some surprises too... it is recruiting....

hopefully he stays with the idea of him being apart of "building something great" rather then jumping on the hype.

Honestly my heart can't take recruiting anymore. Every year I say why do I follow and go through these up and downs...Why do I keep coming back and follow recruiting FML! One day recruiting will give me a nervous breakdown.

I used to be like that until the past couple of years with Benn,Trattou, Little and Martin. Now I still get hyped when kids Verbal but when I hear they are looking around, I just figure that they don't want to be a Golden Domer anymore. If he comes that would be great and if he doesn't oh well. I truly believe that Kelly and staff can get the best out of any kid that comes through the program including the hidden gems. It would be nice for the top notch D-lineman to come here but if they don't someone will take their spot. The RKG's will sign on the dotted line February 2nd. Hang in there.

People need to chill out, it's obvious him and Drew are still talking about playing together and maybe this is his way of getting Ray on campus. Besides the reports say that he is a possible visitor, so nothing is set in stone.

Irish Sports Daily has heard the rumors about Monroe, Ga., defensive end and current Notre Dame commit Stephon Tuitt possibly taking a visit to Auburn. We have checked with a few sources on this and as far as we can tell right now, they’re just that…rumors.

Irish Sports Daily’s Bryan Driskell was able to reach Tuitt’s mother at home on Tuesday, but Tuitt was still at school for basketball. Tuitt’s mother had no idea about any possible visit to Auburn.

“I haven’t heard anything about that, but I’ll have him call,” she said.

Irish Sports Daily’s Brian Town reached out to Tuitt’s teammate, junior Kenderius Whitehead, who is also a Notre Dame recruit. Whitehead too said he had no knowledge of Tuitt even considering a visit to Auburn and said he strongly doubts those reports are true.

ISD hopes to catch up with Tuitt later this evening and will continue to try to find out whether the rumors are true or not

I'm a little too old, and have high blood pressure on top of it, and this doesn't help to have the best appearing defensive stud in the class rumored to be ... maybe ... whatever. We have in this class a fabulous set of linebackers and a high potential set of D-backs. But Tuitt is our FORCE. Hopefully he will enjoy the idea of playing with these guys [and Nix, Schwenke, Shembo, Spond, Moore, --- Lord, the list goes on and on - ] in years to come on a really great, nationally-acknowledged defense. Maybe Ishaq will want to join him here too. C'mon big fellow---this is THE place!!!
