This could be a tough game. Miami has a lot of talent. Probably the biggest weapons are WR Leonard Hankerson and DE Allen Bailey.

Little surprised to see all the Seantrel Henderson smack on here, not just this thread but the other bowl threads on IE. Was ND really that close to getting SH? As I recall it was SC, OSU & Miami as the most serious contenders for him...am I wrong?

The game will be on CBS. I just watched some of the 1989 ND v Miami game aired by CBS, on youtube. *its up in its entirety* This should definitely have a throwback feel to it.

True that, I often wonder about guys that de-commit from ND and chose other universities, if they regret their decision at all. I was wondering yesterday if Gio Bernard (spelling?) has regretted his change of mind since he chose UNC with all the allegations against them.

Seantral Henderson couldn't even pass admission standards. Couldn't have gone to ND. I am looking forward to this game. Hoping this would be the matchup all along. If....When ND wins, it will help in recruiting BIG time. Think Buerlein will do the game?

Agree. Also, a lot can happen when you've got almost a month to prepare too.

I remember MSU playing Florida about 10 years ago or so in a bowl game that they had no chance winning according to the experts. Saban had left for LSU, lame duck coach, alleged gap in talent, program in turmoil = MSU win.

I've got faith in ND though.

But applying the same label to a bunch of kids who seem to be doing everything right doesn't feel right to me and I think reflects poorly on our fan base.

Sun Bowl home site... just google sun bowl... then hit th ticket link... I just got 11 tikets for less than 300 bucks... that's the cheapest ND game I've ever heard of.
