It will be a blast to watch the QB camp battle between Rees, Hendrix, Golson and Massa next spring. Not sure if Crist will even ben healthy enough to be a part of it. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if he transfers and takes the transfer season as a chance to get fully healthy. I'm not predicting he will, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did.

With Rees going to be a Sophmore next season, Hendrix(who Kelly really likes) and Massa still having four years of eligibility, Golson coming in this season(I believe he is going to early enroll?), and Maty Mauk more than likely being a part of the 2012 class it's looking less and less likely that Crist will be able to win his job back.

I didn't realize that Golson is enrolling early. I guess Kelly could use him in some packages next fall while Crist starts.

I'll be interested to see if anyone does transfer.

the crazy thing is kelly is confident enough to start two qbs so everybody has a chance to play next year look at his track record at cincy... its going to be rees or hendrix and then golson. and sorry to say i think daynes best bet is to transfer.... Its like breaking it off with a good looking girl that just dont feel right.were moving in a different direction.

Spring game is going to be crazy competitive. Rees, Golson, Hendrix, Massa, and I believe Montana as well, will compete for the starting QB position. Then here comes fall, and Crist enters the race, too.

it could even turn out golson is a project and wont start right away but run the scout team so our defense can get a good look for mr. robinson and triple option teams.... just a thought....

Golson is going to have to adjust to the College level for sure, but he is a clean passer, good in and outside the pocket, good vision downfield vision on the move, and a winner....... He could compete next year for us if things work out for him

Yes he was but he was also academically inelligible and couldnt play freshman year... both are getting solid classes... and I wouldnt consider Golson to be like Denard he is much smarter he is an ND football player probably closer to a pat white or better version of Collaros
