I hope we stomp them next year en route to the BCS, (with Savon Huggins at 3 rush TD and about 300 yds) :)

I don't usually say this about de-commits but it really is "his loss". I'd bet my left testicle that they are going to turn him into a DB within a month of arriving on campus.

I just read on Irish Illustrated's Twitter that Hayes had concerns about Notre Dame coaching stability....really?

I think i read that on this board before but really?

you guys aren't listening closely to the Man [Terry]. Another OT isn't going to be cause for Hayes to go looking elsewhere [though I'm a big fan of getting at least one more OT too]. You'll never find "Miss Scarlett in the bedroom with ...er...nothing at all" with that level of reasoning. [ No, Brennan Scarlett has nothing to do with this...unless of course it's a conspiracy....}

I'm afraid you haven't cornered the high level reasoning market. I did get what he was implying and hope its true, but I would like to hear something a bit more concrete than insinuation. In fact the Martin brother is the closest thing i have heard to a concrete answer to the "mystery guest" question.

If that's true then that's a friggin' joke. Brian Kelly isn't going anywhere, and dickrod is on a H-O-T seat. Besides, his future coordinator at Michigan, Greg Robinson, will be fired in 2 weeks (and yes, I'm saying I agree with bornready that they'll turn him into a DB the second he signs the LOI. He'd the starting DB right now at UM, broken wrist and all...and he'd be getting torched like the rest of their DBs).

Like I said, his loss. If he were going to MSU or even Northwestern or a school like that, I'd say good luck. But a program in complete turmoil like Michigan...wow.

Giving this reason for not coming to ND, then choosing Michigan is a very odd decision. Justice...bye.

I agree. This looks like a big excuse. There must be something going on, perhaps we are on the verge of good news. I don't want start any rumor...

I'm not that old. But what the **** has gotten into todays youth? What happened to a persons word meaning something? Either leave your commitment open until your decision is final, or at least be honest about the reason you are changing. Coaching stability sounds like a b.s. excuse to me. I thought I heard he had a family issue that arose. If thats the case and U of M is closer for you to be there for your family, I would actually understand.

Well Boys...looks like we dodged a bullet. Because if this kid is leaving us because of "coaching stability" then he is not a very focused young man.

Well Mr Huggins...we have always wanted you...now you are even more important now...oh and bring Shuler along....:)

The thing is, if the whole coaching stability thing is true and RR actually gets fired after this season. Because if RR loses to OSU that means Michigan would have lost 5 of their last 7 games this year and 7 of their last 8 last year. Not the greatest trend to be setting.

He could be gone, then Hayes' "reason" will look that much more foolish.
