I think the only reason he committed to ND was because of the status of Rich Rod at UM, I think if Mr. Huggins commits here then you will see Justice go to UM
Really? I don't think there was ever that much mututal interest between Hayes and UM. The 2 teams to worry about would be MSU and UT IMO.

For whatever reason I wasn't really feeling Justice Hayes from the get go, so in my eyes this is no big loss. Unfortunately I recall feeling the same way about Theo Riddick when he was being recruited and obviously I was way off on that one. Ideally this will just make us a more attractive destination for Huggins.

pull the scholly and let him go. if councell wants the same then fine. get kids that truly want to be here and don't need a pacifier. nd is for young men that want to be great.

Now Councell is wavering????

Now Councell is wavering????

the fact that he's visiting other schools doesn't sit well with me. maybe he's solid who knows anymore. it seems to me he's looking for a reason to go elsewhere and go back on his word.

Shocking. Absolutely shocking. Would it be because the younger Hart isn't a Michigan lock anymore and he wants to keep his options open if Savon committed here? I guess we'll just have to wait for more information.

Wow I'm absolutely floored by this. I don't think I can take following recruiting anymore.

I say his choices are UM and UT, take the offer away for ND. Either your in or your OUT!! There are more kids out there. Move on. Sorry for the cold thoughts, but these kids have to stand up and become adults. What does a "commitment" mean??? Not much these days.

Justice Hayes is one of the LEAST likely ship-jumpers in the whole class. He, Brindze, Grace et al call themselves "The Justice League" and have been constantly trying to recruit FOR us. How does anyone come up with BS that's ignorant of facts such as that?? I almost suspect that people are just trying to irritate others when things like that are said.

Good call.you jinxed us in a matter of 3 hours. lol. just kidding.

Once again it shows a committment is an insurance policy. These kids are smarter than we think. Use ND as the policy until their season is over and then see if you want to go elsewhere. Get hurt and you still get a great ND education. Take the offer away from this kid.

Pathetic.

Said his parents didn't get enough attention from the coaching staff on Senior Day.

So that, coupled with the Declan Sullivan tragedy, potential coaching changes (neg. recruiting), got Hayes and his parents a little concerned.

Who would be dumb enough to believe the negative recruiting against ND's coaching staff and have more confidence in the staffs at Michigan and Tennessee? Those programs aren't going anywhere.

I agree. If everything goes right next week, Michigan will finish with the same record as us. Not exactly where they wanted to be at this point. Tennessee might get back, but I think it will take more time than us.

This is hardly good news. Again, the concern is about a stampede to the exits and losing another four star is not going to help with the rest of our recruiting.

Huggins just got far more important. We need a back in this class as we have two graduating.

Yawn.

Wake me up on the 2nd of Feb.

And mark my words...this class will be fine. Kelly and his staff can recruit, and they sure as hell can develop players (just look at the individual improvement shown by several players this year). We'll get players in here that want to be here, and as **** Vermeil said...we will win football games. If Justice doesn't want to be here, then recruit the hell out of the TX kid and (of course) Suggins.

(And If he wasn't feeling the love, maybe there was a reason for it. Who knows what happened? No one should have to babysit these guys and coddle them. There's more to this, but the coaches can't talk about recruits by name, so we'll probably never know.)

Good luck Justice...we hardly knew thee.
