Michigan has the worst defense I have ever seen. It makes our 2009 defense look like champions.

yep. it is inexcusable that RichRod took a defense that was below average in 2008, transformed them into a historically bad defense in 2009....and somehow they are even worse this year...and he still stands behind the D coordinator, Greg Robinson.

sure, they are lacking some talent on D, but not enough that they should be one of the absoloute worst defenses in the country.

Their D would suck anyway, but he did the same thing to the D that he did to his offense. Forced a system on them (3-3-5) that they are not suited to. They barely even have 5 dbacks.

Michigan has a legitimate shot at being the worst defense statistically in the country.

120th people!!!

They've been giving up 440 yards a game (106th ranked) and they just gave up 575 yards.

They're giving up 30 points a game (89th ranked) and just surrendered 65 points.

Long term, Notre Dame has a HUGE advantage in defense. It looks like we're recruiting an NFL team compared to what UM is bringing in next year.

Really, Michigan needs about 2 or 3 fairly loaded recruiting classes with 3 or 4 studs on D each year and then MAYBE they'll be a good defense by 2012 or 2013.

Those recruits aren't coming right now.

Greg Robinson is terrible!! He destroyed the Broncos. Than went to Syracuse and destroyed that program and now he can't even coach up a defense at Michigan. Either you can coach or can't and Greg is certainly proving he can't..

I hear ya man. Harbaugh knows how to coach all phases of the game, Rich Rod coaches one third really well but special teams and defense are just very sub-par. I'm hoping you guys hang on to Rich Rod for a long time. He's not a bad coach, but he's also not a great one.
