Sorry guys but what I've seen reminds me of the Mickey Mouse High School offesne of Gerry Faust. The only differenc is we didn't get embarrassed this bad under Faust. Even our losses in the last 2 years under Weis showed promise but our D was just out of shape. This D and last years offense = 8-1. Faust was a nice guy but like Kis is proving would be outcoached. At least Charlie and Ty brought some life and hop in their first 2 years. This is becoming a more embarrassing year with weaker competition and better personnel than 2007.

How the hell did we beat Pitt? Oh that's right they missed 3 makable FG's and Rugger made a 50 yarder.

Dude get a grip. Give Kelly a chance. I love how we lose so many players to injury, trying to rebuild a program over night, have a new coaching staff and all the naysayers come out in force because we haven't been able to put it all together over night. Go back to your little hole where you crawled out of and take a xanax and it will be ok. Wake up in another year or two and things will be just fine. Have faith my friend because alot of us are pissed off and disappointed right now.

This thread is a joke. Are we worried about how a regime starts or how it progresses?

I'm more worried about how a stupid play call by our head coach cost us a game.
There is NO ONE on this site more optimistic than me but this loss is squarely on BK's shoulders.

A coach's job is this: love 'em when they're good. Hate 'em when they lose...

That being said, he'll need a few years to get his people in at the level of understanding for this offense to click.

Give him time you knuckleheads. I liked Weis too. But Kelly is our coach. He's family now. You don't get rid of family when times are tough. You get realistic and support them. Scold them when they're wrong: yes. But stand-by them.

Nothing is worse to me then a bunch of "Captain Hindsight(s)". I wish I could kick you all square in the buttocks. I would.

I'd let you as long as there was a football attached to my a$$ and we were on the 19 yard line! :)

There has to be room to question the coach. He blew this game today and should be man enuogh to say it.

Look, he shouldn't be fired, but that choice at the end of the game, which was--to call a pass play with a true freshmen quarterback in the game, who, admittedly, was playing very well, but made some obvious freshmen mistakes, instead of running the ball and allowing your kicker who is perfect for his career have a chance to win the game, was outrageous and flies in the face of the situation he was presented with.

The team is struggling--just lost their QB for the year, have lost Rudolph, Riddick, Mando, and Carlo. We desperately needed this win to give us a solid chance at getting to a bowl game, another thing to team desperately needs, for practices.

Was the field goal guaranteed? No, but it's probability was much better than Tommy Rees completing one of his longest passes of the game. I try to stay even keeled, but I cannot fathom that decision with the variables presented. It's borderline insanity.

Will Valium do? I guess I know how to flush out the hardcore Kelly Supporters. I like his passion but not his decision to pass with a frshman QB in the clutch.

the play call was to fake the run and then throw to Floyd. Everyone thought ND would run the all there. Pass was a good call. But to run a Pass with no fake was CRIMINAL!!!!!

That's as good a question as why did they call it at all.
