To Timer, I'm waiting for the first "positive" comment from you about anything.
Odd.
I have entire sections of my posts called "The Good".
Hmm...
HAHA dont avoid the question
I'm not avoiding the question. I was actually curious as to whether you were serious or not.
I though the thread title and video would have been an obvious enough clue as to what I found "offensive" about the play.
tell me why he should be suspended
Because he stomped on an opposing players chest....
Keep in mind, he was right in front of umm i would say 3 officials, an didnt draw a flag!
Nice logic. So because an official didn't see it or missed it then it's not a punishable offense by the coaching staff if they deem it to be so. Spikes gouged a player in the eye at Florida. Wasn't flagged for it but even Urban Meyer suspended the kid for a quarter or two.
My comment was a question about cut blocks.
Really? Wow...Thanks for the clarification about your post talking about cut blocks being hard to defend being about cut blocks. I thought it was about tuna cassarole.
It had NOTHING to do with the video moron
Exactly...so I would have to question why even make a comment about a double team situation at all since it doesn't
apply to what I posted in any way since Neal
was not double teamed.
Explain to me how "How do you defend a cut block? Especially when double teamed." is a "claim about the video" and not an honest question to the text I quoted in my post.
My post said Notre Dame players should learn how to defend a cut block...in direct reference to the Neal situation since it was
in this thread. Asking how you "defend a cut block, when double teamed" makes no sense in the context of that comment or this thread in general since Neal wasn't double teamed in any capacity.
Cut blocks are pretty easy to defend against. You use your hands to essentially steer the cut block which way you want to as you should be able to control where the player is going as they are off their center of gravity.Keeping your hands low and using the players shoulder pads to steer or deflect the block is the best way to go. Defending a cut block while already engaged shouldn't be something you have to defend yourself from at all as it's illegal.
